Method

  1. Mix the garlic powder, salt and pepper into the beef and shape into 2 thin patties.

  2. Sear the patties in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes, flip, top with the cheese and cook 2 to 3 minutes more until done.

  3. Meanwhile, stir the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and pickle brine together for the sauce.

  4. Divide the lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles between two bowls. Slice the cheeseburgers, lay them on top and drizzle with the sauce.

Tips

  • Thin patties cook fast and give you more crispy edges.
  • Add a fried egg or a few slices of cooked bacon if you like.
  • Ground beef is done at 160°F.
